Learning to Compost

Uncategorized Sep 10, 2019

35 years ago when I was sitting in Mr. Floridia's physics class hearing about the laws of energy and mass, I can't say that I really appreciated what I was learning.

As a 16-year-old, I was much more interested in Friday night football games and voting for the homecoming king and queen then learning about E = MC2.

In fact, it wasn't until I went through my own "burn out" that I really took the time to understand energy.  And, at first, that was just because I felt like I didn't have any energy!  I just wanted to feel better and get rid of the brain fog!

Little did I know that my burn out would be my biggest blessing and I would come back full circle to studying the Laws of the Universe.   And that understanding those Laws would help me go from feeling like I was "dying on the vine" (with no energy) to thriving and then flourishing!

Einstein said "Everything is energy and that's all there is to it.  Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality.  It can be no other way."

Well. that sounds all well and good, but what do you do when you feel like you have no energy?  And when it feels like everything in your world is crumbling around you?

Have you ever experienced that?

Your relationships fall apart, you lose your job or your home or you begin to experience health issues.  Everything in your "comfortable" world seems to be slipping away?

Are you doomed to match that frequency and keep getting more of the same?

 No-absolutely not!

Not if you choose to take action and transmute that energy!

The law of conservation of energy, also known as the first law of thermodynamics, states that energy in a closed system must remain constant.  It can neither increase nor decrease without interference from an outside force.
And energy is neither created nor destroyed, it just changes form.

So what does that really mean?

It means that, if everything in the universe is energy (and it is) and everything in your life is energy (and it is), then things are either remaining constant OR being acted upon by outside forces, OR (and this is the BIG OR), you become the force that takes the action!

When it feels like everything is being destroyed as you know it--you can use that energy to create something new!

Nature does this beautifully with compost--dead decaying material that becomes rich fertilizer for the new.

Or manure--literally sh*t--that can take a dying plant and turn it into a healthy, vibrant crop!

So....where in your life do you need to BE the force that creates change?

Are you "simply surviving" and want more from your life?

Or are you in a downward spiral and need to compost that sh*t??

Because those horrible "endings" can be really rich fertilizer for some amazing new beginnings!
